What a great tool for education purposes. Although I can see it's limitations, it was great to see what I could achieve with the use of Wiki. I looked into the wiki sites that were recommended and was impressed that I could communicate with Library staff all around the world. Library Routes was a great way to see how others gained entry into our field. As a library assistant, I have a way to go in my chosen career path and it was good to see how others got there. "A Day in The Life.." was ideal to communicate with the like minded.
It gives you fresh ideas and new up-to-date information that I can use in my line of work.I will definitley spend more time exploring wiki and participating in discussions.
I like wikis too, though don't use them as much as we could. have to admit Wikipedia is a frequent visit for me!

ReplyDeleteGreat- the Day in the life project is so interesting, and it seems to work so well as a wiki. Great use of a wiki I reckon!!
